Planning Board Clears Highfields Lot Split
Planning Board · Meeting of September 28, 2026
Grafton Planning Board clears Highfields lot split, finalizes permitting guide. Director of Planning and Community Development Christian D'Emilia told the board the final version of the Grafton Permitting Guide, built with the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission, is ready for public release. The board voted unanimously to find approval was not required for a lot-line change separating the clubhouse and parking lot from the rest of the Highfields golf course at 42 McGill Drive, and named member David Robbins as its representative to the new, 10-year Master Plan Implementation Committee.
The board also approved its annual report to Town Meeting after striking a paragraph on finance committee testimony "yet to be held," and cleared five backlogged sets of minutes dating to January 2024. D'Emilia said two prior projects, on Upton Street and at "Five Millennium," remain without major progress.
