Barre Home Prices Hold Near $213,500 Median on Thin Pricing Data

BARRE -- Twelve property transfers were recorded in Barre's deed records at the Worcester County Registry of Deeds between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only two carry a sale price so far, both in the low $200,000s, underscoring the lag that often separates a recorded deed from its published consideration amount.

MARKET OVERVIEW

Of the 12 transfers recorded during the period, two have sale prices listed in registry data: $212,000 and $215,000. Based on those two transactions, the median sale price is $213,500. The remaining 10 transfers show price not yet available, which typically reflects a data lag of about a week rather than any withholding of information.
