Sturbridge's only disclosed July sale closes at $150,000 on Fiske Hill Road

STURBRIDGE -- The Worcester County Registry of Deeds recorded nine property transfers in Sturbridge between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only one deed disclosed a sale price, limiting what can be reported about the month's market activity.

MARKET OVERVIEW Nine deeds were recorded in Sturbridge during the period. Of those, only one, the July 17 transfer of 78 Fiske Hill Rd., listed a sale price: $150,000. Because just one of nine transactions disclosed a price, the reported price range and median, both $150,000, reflect that single sale rather than the full set of nine transfers. NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN The nine transfers were spread across eight named streets, Podunk Road, Allen Road, Fiske Hill Road, McGregory Road, Jamieson Road, Brookfield Road, Shepard Road and Hillside Drive, plus one Sturbridge property listed without a street address.
