RUTLAND -- Nine deeds were recorded for Rutland properties over the past month, but only one has posted a sale price to the Worcester County Registry of Deeds so far: a $684,000 transaction recorded Aug. 24. The other eight remain listed without a price, which typically reflects a data lag of about a week rather than any withholding by the parties involved.

Nine deeds were recorded for Rutland properties between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, according to Worcester County Registry of Deeds data. Of those, one carries a consideration amount: $684,000, recorded Aug. 24. That figure currently sets both the price range and the median sale price for the period, since it is the only price on file; the remaining eight transfers have price not yet available. Because just one of nine transactions has a reported price, the raw count of nine deeds does not by itself indicate whether the period was active or quiet by dollar volume.
