Select Board approves fall town meeting warrant

Webster Select Board clears six-article warrant for October 19 town meeting. The board voted unanimously to post the warrant, which includes $150,000 for Fire Station 2 repairs, $60,000 to replace the Town Hall electronic sign, and $300,000 plus two $150,000 design appropriations for wastewater and sewer infrastructure work. Clerk Elaine Davis updated the board on the town's strategic master plan process, citing focus-group feedback on "building a stronger identity" around the lake, river and mill heritage.

The board also appointed a new Conservation Commission member and approved Lisa Fitton to the Finance Committee, both unanimously. Separately, the board was briefed that the Zoning Board of Appeals continued the Nitmux Ski Club's zoning appeal to October 6, with a decision expected in November.
