Hubbardston Board of Health Appoints O'Donnell, DPW Director as Health Agents

HUBBARDSTON — June 3, 2026 — Hubbardston Board of Health appoints two health agents and schedules a June 27 metal recycling event. At its June 3 meeting, the board voted to appoint retiring member Judie O'Donnell as a health agent under MGL Chapter 111, Section 30, to serve as a backup MAVEN disease-reporting administrator — abstaining from her own vote — while Dianna Johnson and Dave Rogers voted in favor alongside Chair Gael Moncoeur. The board also unanimously appointed DPW Director Travis Brown as a health agent with the specific authority to investigate beaver-related flooding complaints and issue 10-day emergency removal permits under MGL Chapter 131, Section 80A, bypassing the need for board convening in time-sensitive field situations.
