Grafton Board of Health Votes Unanimously to Commend 30-Year Office Manager Nancy Connors

Grafton Board of Health votes to commend Office Manager Nancy Connors for more than 30 years of service. The board voted 4-0 at its June 8 hybrid meeting to formally recognize Connors, who began her career when the health and building departments were combined and served as the sole full-time health department employee through the COVID-19 pandemic. Clerk Andrew Chalupka, who moved the commendation, called Connors "the public face of the health department" for a generation of residents.

Former board member Dan Finn joined remotely to add his own thanks, noting Connors continues to support the Grafton Opioid Recovery Community Partnership. The board also confirmed unanimously that Grafton will remain in the Central Mass Mosquito Control Project following a Town Meeting vote, and appointed Regional Public Health Director Annette Garcia as primary representative and Member William Muller as alternate to the Public Health Emergency Preparedness coalition, each for one year.
