WEST BOYLSTON — The West Boylston Board of Health previewed a revised permit fee schedule that would raise projected annual revenue from $32,000 to $39,200. Staff presenter Annette said food establishment fees would shift to a four-tier risk model ranging from $200 to $500, while tobacco retail permits would rise from $150 to $300, effective January 1, 2027. The board also discussed moving a chicken-coop registration deadline to June 30, 2027, after staff said "I never recommend less than six months for implementation." No vote was taken on either item; the fee schedule goes to a board vote in November.

Separately, the regional opioid task force awarded grant funding to Veterans Inc. and selected Advocates to launch a police post-response support program starting January 2027.
