Westborough to Host Community Meeting on Amazon Drone Delivery Plan

WESTBOROUGH — Town officials are inviting residents to a community meeting on Amazon's proposal to bring drone package delivery to Westborough, set for September 23 at the DoubleTree hotel. The announcement, posted to the town's News Flash service this week, gives residents their first formal chance to hear details of the plan and question company representatives directly.

TOWN HALL The town announced that the Amazon Prime Air Community Meeting will be held Wednesday, September 23, at 5 p.m. at the DoubleTree, where residents can learn more about the company's proposal for drone delivery service in Westborough. The News Flash post did not detail the scope of the proposed service, but framed the session as an opportunity for the public to engage directly with Amazon on the plan.

Town Hall also released a summary this week of the listening session held after this year's Annual Town Meeting, part of an ongoing effort to gather resident feedback on how the meeting itself is run.
