Webster Library Launches New Floral Design Program This Week

WEBSTER — The Gladys E. Kelly Library will open a new floral design class for teens and adults on Wednesday, one of several concrete community offerings anchoring an otherwise quiet stretch for town government and schools.

The Gladys E. Kelly Library, at 2 Lake Street, will debut "Flowers for Everyone: Intro to Floral Design for Teens and Adults" on Thursday, September 24, from 6 to 7:15 p.m., giving residents a hands-on introduction to floral arranging in a new program the library has not previously offered.

The library will also welcome back its recurring visitor program "Goose Returns!!" on Saturday, September 26, from 11 a.m. to noon, according to the library's events calendar.

COMING UP

The library has a full slate of programming in the coming week. On Monday, September 21, offerings include Library for All: Crafts from 10 a.m. to noon, one-on-one tech help with James from 10 to 10:30 a.m., Toddler Storytime from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Creators Club for library card holders from 4 to 5 p.m., and a D&D One Shot session from 5 to 8 p.m. On Tuesday, September 22, the library hosts Tiny Groovers at 10:30 a.m. and a visit from Kim the LEGO Lady at 4 p.m. Library for All: Crafts returns again on Friday, September 25, from 10 a.m. to noon.
