Oxford Sale Prices Span $100,000 to $440,272 in August Deeds

OXFORD -- Twelve property deeds were recorded in Oxford between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only three carried a disclosed sale price, ranging from $100,000 to $440,272, according to Worcester County Registry of Deeds records.

MARKET OVERVIEW

The Registry recorded 12 transactions in the four-week period. Of those, three listed a consideration amount: $100,000, $314,640 and $440,272, for a median of $314,640. The remaining nine deeds, three-quarters of the total, listed no sale price, which is common for certain deed types such as mortgage discharges, foreclosure-related transfers and intra-family conveyances. Because comparable figures from other periods are not included in this dataset, the 12-deed count alone does not indicate whether activity was stronger or weaker than usual.

TOP SALES

The highest-priced transaction was a $440,272 sale in Oxford, recorded Aug. 10; the deed record did not specify a street address. The seller was listed as Scott A. Reynolds and Christine A. Reynolds, and the buyer as Rocket Mortgage LLC and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc.
