Northborough Council on Aging sets April 27 launch for Senior Center strategic-plan survey
NORTHBOROUGH — March 10, 2026 — Northborough Council on Aging advances Senior Center strategic-plan survey toward an April 27 launch. The committee spent the bulk of its March 10 meeting reviewing a draft community survey question by question, agreeing to use broad categories in the visit-reasons question — including socializing, exercising, and dining at the Bistro — while making the activity-interest question more specific, with options ranging from Mahjong and bingo to yoga, live music, and intergenerational programs. Two open-ended midpoint questions were cut and folded into a single closing comment box. Distribution will run through SurveyMonkey via the Senior Center's weekly email newsletter, Facebook, the town website, and printed flyers with QR codes at the Senior Center and Northborough Housing Authority properties; a paper copy option will be available on-site. The Friends of the Senior Center, in an update delivered in absentia, reported 724 total members and $18,092.60 raised from 192 donations in the annual appeal, which runs through April, with $5,237 in total 2026 support to the center recorded so far.
