Grafton Board of Health tables a $8,352 Tufts consulting contract pending more background. The board voted 4-0 to postpone recommending the two-year biomedical/biosafety consulting renewal with Colleen Driscoll to the Select Board after member Radhika Prabhu said she wanted to review the consultant's CV first, noting the cost rose from $7,200 in 2024 and $6,800 in 2022. Chair Jennifer Maynard agreed the increase "did strike me as a little bit higher than prior years." The board separately approved one-year appointments of Melinda McKendrick and Jay Husson as animal inspectors and Keith Elmes as assistant animal inspector, all 4-0.

Staff reported 17 food inspections in March, a $5,000 federal food-safety grant, and a COVID booster clinic set for May 22 at the Municipal Center.
