Dudley Planning Board Reorganizes After Chairman Watroba Resigns Mid-Term

DUDLEY — February 11, 2026 — Dudley Planning Board reorganizes after chairman resigns, authorizes response to open meeting complaint. Vice Chairman David Durgin was elevated to chairman at the February 11 meeting after Steve Watroba resigned effective February 10, citing professional obligations; Richard Clark was elected vice chairman and Guy Horne was elected clerk. The newly constituted board voted unanimously to authorize KP Law attorney Michelle Randazzo to submit a draft response to an Open Meeting Law complaint filed with the Office of the Attorney General by Durgin himself before his elevation — the complaint names Clark as a respondent and concerns a Lot 14 Paula Lane vote at the January 21 meeting. The board also approved a $1,119.57 Graves Engineering invoice and a $58.60 Stonebridge Press bill, restored Rocky Hill Estates to its standing subdivision agenda, and heard from three Lyons Estates residents frustrated that developer Galaxy has not resolved street tree and survey post requirements needed before streets can be accepted by the town.
