Joseph Marias was elected chair and Chris White vice chair at the May 5 meeting, with all reorganization votes passing 4-0 in the absence of member Wilson. The board unanimously endorsed an Approval Not Required plan at 40 Fortune Boulevard, splitting the former Lowe's parcel to create a 51,722-square-foot lot labeled "not a building lot." The most contentious item was a continued site plan for a contractor services facility at 225 West Street, where the owner of the neighboring 215 West Street medical building — identified as Dr. Kamali — challenged the applicant's claimed vehicular access easement through his parking lot, which he said cost $130,000 to resurface, and told the board he was never notified of the ZBA special permit hearing; the application was continued to June 2 pending drainage review, easement documents, and town counsel's input.
