Mendon Council on Aging votes $100 farewell gift as longtime Minstrels coordinator steps down. Director Amy Wilson Kent said health issues, "knee replacements, a meniscus tear, a stroke for one person, eye problems", led Dave Clinkman to resign after roughly 17 years leading the senior chorus. The board, hearing from Treasurer's report presenter Carol Kotros that its budget sits at 30 percent remaining with three months left in the fiscal year, also opened talks with the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission on joining a regional senior-transportation network, since Mendon's van currently runs just 19 hours a week.

Members moved their May meeting from May 13 to May 20 to avoid a conflict with Annual Town Meeting, and tabled summer cookout planning pending a volunteer cook's availability.
