Grafton Planning Board approves two items, tables Abby Woods lot release
Planning Board · Meeting of April 27, 2026
Grafton Planning Board approves two subdivision items 5-0, tables a third over bond paperwork. Chair Robert Hassinger's board unanimously found approval not required for an ANR lot-line shift at 2 Greany Drive for owners Thomas Digiuseppe and Martha Walters, with attorney Jeffrey Larnard explaining the change resolves a boundary arrangement so "there's not some fight later about adverse possession." Members also unanimously granted a modified definitive plan approval for Central MA Home Builders' 18 Carroll Road project after catching a dating error in the draft decision's finding 10. A request to release five remaining lots in the Abby Woods subdivision was tabled to May 4 because updated surety bond paperwork was not yet finalized.
During public comment, resident Michael Rak said he plans to run as a write-in candidate for an open board seat, telling members "I do not oppose or champion any particular projects or styles here in Grafton."
