Millbury Finance Committee reelects Cooper chairman after member Pratt resigns. Chairperson Charles Cooper announced William Pratt had resigned his seat and the vice chairmanship, sending an appointment to the town moderator to fill. The committee then reorganized 4-0 by roll call, keeping Cooper as chairman, reelecting Jennifer O'Connell as vice chairperson and Judith O'Connor as clerk for fiscal year 2027.
Member William Breault, who joined the meeting remotely at 6:41 p.m., declined an offer to take the vice chairmanship instead, saying he was still "getting my bearings." Members Russell Wells and Breault both said they did not want to fill Pratt's now-vacant capital review committee seat. The committee accepted its May 5 minutes and adjourned 5-0 with no Chapter 33B transfers or capital budget updates on the table.
