TEMPLETON — Conservation Commission accepted Minuteman Drive plans 3-1, leaving a shed and stream crossing in place. Members Christof Chartier, George Andrews and Dave Symonds voted yes, and Jo-Anne Burdin voted no after asking for a site visit because of "encroachment after encroachment." Chris Anderson of Hannigan Engineering said the shed covers about 2.07 percent of the riverfront area. The commission voted 4-0 to deem changes to the 54-unit School Street apartments minor, so no amendment is needed.
It also backed a Mount Grace conservation restriction on 47 acres of dog-training land and voted 4-0 to support a Massachusetts Rivers Alliance grant application for the Otter River Pool Dam. Conservation Agent Jessica Case said Templeton moved to a Level 3 critical drought March 9.
