Bylaw Review Committee · Meeting of July 2, 2026

SOUTHBRIDGE — The Bylaw Review Committee postponed three bylaw items Thursday after approving two sets of minutes. Committee members approved the April 1 and May 27 minutes, then agreed to retitle Section 3-107 as "approval and filing of minutes," add the state timeline of three meetings or 30 days, and keep a five-business-day filing deadline with the town clerk. A speaker said open meeting law training with KP Law's Lauren Goldberg is planned for late July or early August.

Members also asked for Section 3-306 to be split to separate the building commissioner and inspector from the director of inspectional services, and put Chapter 5 off to July 30. A speaker said a traffic commission is missing from the bylaws.
