Board of Health · Meeting of October 26, 2026

Boylston Board of Health adopted new tobacco sales regulations after a public hearing with no residents present. The rules, modeled on Southborough's, set a $1,000 fine and a three-business-day sales suspension for a first violation, $2,000 and seven days for a second within 36 months, and $5,000 and 30 days for three or more. Participants said the fines are the main change for Boylston.

The board voted by voice and set a November 1, 2026 effective date. Earlier, the board approved the September 28 minutes and confirmed November 23 as its next meeting. Public Health Nurse Ann Marie Muckenstrom reported on a vaccine clinic that served 16 residents at the town house and 13 at the elementary school.
