Director Hadley, who will move to 30 hours per week beginning July 1, outlined a proposed new schedule adding four hours on Thursdays and one hour on Tuesdays, for a net gain of five weekly open hours; a formal vote on the schedule is slated for the board's next meeting, tentatively set for June 15.

The town's energy committee is scheduled to audit the library's energy use on May 14, with the director noting the building ranks among the highest in town for energy consumption per square foot. The library also received a $250 donation from Highland Wine and Spirits, directed by the Conservation Commission following Townwide Cleanup Day, and expects a $4,094.71 state aid payment still pending as of the meeting.
