WRTA to End Bus Routes A and B Serving Grafton in August
GRAFTON — Regional bus service to two of Grafton's busiest transit connections will end next month, after the Worcester Regional Transit Authority voted to eliminate Routes A and B following a public review process, with the last day of service set for August 28.
TOWN HALL
The WRTA Advisory Board's decision to cut Routes A and B will affect riders who use the bus to reach the Grafton Stop and Shop and the MBTA commuter rail station, according to the town's announcement. The town noted the change followed a public review process and community meetings before the board finalized the elimination.
Separately, the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project will conduct spraying in Grafton on August 6, 13, 20 and 27 in response to resident concerns, though the town cautioned the dates are tentative and could shift due to weather.
