Dudley's water and sewer commissioners approved two tie-ins and a temporary easement. The Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners voted unanimously to let Tony DeDonato connect two-family homes at 3 Fairview Ave. and 4 Third Ave. to town water, subject to all fee structures and town policies. After closed session on real property value, it adopted an award of taking with no damages for a temporary easement lasting up to nine months.
Tighe & Bond reported 32 potential connectors on the Eagle Drive water main, with about half signed up and bidding expected in February or March 2027. Sewer flow metering for the inflow and infiltration study will restart in spring 2027 and finish by the end of that year. The board also agreed to let the town planner explore low-interest loans for sewer work.
