CHARLTON — The Charlton Water and Sewer Commission voted to extend its contract with Veolia. The extension, which included pending amendments, was approved on a roll call of members Gagner, T. Coleman, Ascenso and R. Coleman, with no vote against recorded. A Veolia representative identified as Chris told the board he was "committed to building this strong partnership" despite what he called "some concerns of as of late." He said the extension builds on an original 2021 contract and requires only a confirming approval letter, with "no disruption in the operation of the day-to-day at the plant." The board then adjourned by roll call vote.
