The committee corrected a spreadsheet error that had overstated the District 5 schoolhouse funding total at $595,000 rather than the approved $495,000, approved payment of a $158.40 Community Advocate invoice for public hearing advertising, and agreed to rework Article 27 language to clarify that the Affordable Housing Trust, not the CPC, will distribute rental assistance funds. On signage, the committee debated whether to supply a uniform small sign to all grantees or require applicants to design their own within written guidelines; the planning department recommended the latter, arguing that a bronze plaque suits a historic schoolhouse in a way a standard placard does not. Staff will draft application checkbox language and funding-agreement text for a future vote. The committee also confirmed its annual public forum for May 11 at 7 p.m. in the police station training room, noting that a community survey modeled on the 15 Maple Avenue reuse poll, which drew 1,017 responses, is in development.
