Templeton's Select Board kept a single tax rate for fiscal 2027 and signed off on a cafe ownership change. The board voted 5-0 to set the residential and commercial-industrial shift factors at 1.0000 after Deputy Assessor Justice Graves reported the average single-family home value rose to $397,039, up more than $18,000, on a total assessed value of $1,264,533,290. Members also approved, 5-0, transferring the all-alcohol license at 119 Patriots Road to new owners Denise and Jeff Raymond's Runway Enterprises LLC, operating as Templeton Cafe and Pub, after attorney Vincent Pusateri said "there were no negative things" from abutters.

Separately, staff told the board that fire doors at Templeton Elementary School, found not closing properly in an August inspection, require roughly $62,000 in replacement work, with the school's occupancy permit still on hold. The board accepted $650 in Senior Center memorial donations and voted to keep the winter roads salt contract moving forward.
