Select Board · Meeting of January 21, 2026

West Boylston Select Board dissolved the subcommittee overseeing its new trash enterprise rollout. Chair Vanessa Kuzmanovski said she formed the panel after residents "voted to start a trash enterprise account" without knowing what it meant, and the board folded it into staff work led by interim Town Administrator Carter Teranzini and Finance Committee chair Ray, who said dissolution was "the likely proper channel." The board set a Board of Health hearing on draft trash rules for February 11 and an opt-out mailing deadline of February 3. Separately, the board tabled a decision on using a roughly $125,000 Tivnin Drive cemetery earmark after the Cemetery Commission voted against the site, and unanimously swore in new full-time officer Christian Martinez, effective February 5.
