Milford's School Committee unanimously adopted Superintendent Craig Consigli's 2026-2027 goals and launched a forum series on the Milford High School building project. The committee approved seven warrants totaling roughly $842,009.11 on a motion from Matthew Zacchilli, seconded by Derrick Sobers. Consigli told the committee "we're simply not there yet" on design specifics but promised to "share the information that we 100 percent know" starting with an October 6 forum at the high school auditorium featuring architects from HMFH Architects.
He said the district is targeting a town meeting vote on the project around October 2027. The revised goals document splits building-project oversight from fiscal management into separate tracked goals. A budget meeting for fiscal year 2028 was confirmed for January 27-28, 2027.
The committee also honored six Bertondazi Teacher of the Year nominees, with Lisa Rizzoli of Stacy Middle School named overall winner.
