Planning Board · Meeting of September 15, 2026
Northborough Planning Board approved a special permit for a two-family home at 2 Buena Vista Drive and signed off on an amended landscape plan for the Hit Tracks facility at 1 Lyman Street. Both votes passed 4-0, with Vice Chair Bill Pierce presiding alongside members Millie Milton, Carter Brannon and Anthony Zeitin. Design engineer Vito Colonna of Cornerstone Engineering, representing applicant Heckman Homes LLC, told the board the duplex would add about 8,200 square feet of impervious surface, offset by three drywells and a rain garden.
At 1 Lyman Street, owner Mike Donfrancesco called a $25,000 landscaping allowance for abutters the Stones "a handshake deal," a point planning staffer Laurie Connors said carries no enforcement weight unless written into the decision letter. The board also noted upcoming filings for a Dottie's Doggy Daycare relocation and a proposed school at 300 West Main Street.
