Planning Board · Meeting of July 14, 2026

Rutland's Planning Board approved two lot-line plans and swapped curb standards for a subdivision as its vice chair filled in for a hospitalized chair. Vice Chair Timothy Nahrwold presided in place of Chair Norman Anderson, who members said is recovering in rehab. The board unanimously endorsed ANR plans for Dick Williams's 35 Overlook Road parcel and for Denise Carboneau's 189 Maple Avenue property, represented by attorney Kathleen McGovern, while tabling a second Williams plan missing a signature block.

Members approved replacing granite curb inlets with Cape Cod berms across Brintnal Estates but tabled a request to cut required street trees to two per lot. The board also referred a Chapter 61A notice on a 2.37-acre Glenwood Road parcel to the Select Board and sent a $10,000 Bryce Lemon bond request to engineer Kevin Quinn for review.
