Millbury Planning Board sponsors three zoning articles for spring town meeting, tables floodplain rewrite. The board voted 5-0 four separate times to advance amendments to the Bramanville Village District (removing maximum residential setbacks and raising minimum lot size to 7,000 square feet), an off-site parking ban requiring parking on the same lot as the use it serves, and an S-2 zoning map extension along West Main Street. Town Planner Victor Panak said he "did not personally go through the FEMA regulations" underlying a proposed floodplain bylaw rewrite, and members including Richard F.

Gosselin Jr. balked at voting without more review, leaving that article off the spring warrant. Resident Bob Simmler urged the board to "keep Millbury Millbury" by rejecting reduced downtown parking requirements. The board also agreed to shift its meeting start time to 6:30 p.m. beginning February 23.
