Millbury Conservation Panel Approves Riverlin Street Redevelopment

Millbury Conservation Commission clears major Riverlin Street redevelopment and six other wetlands cases on unanimous votes. Chairman Ronald Stead's board voted 4-0 to issue an Order of Conditions for a new commercial building and stormwater restoration at 100 Riverlin Street, the former Buck Brothers property, after engineer Samantha Carew of Ecosystem Solutions detailed a 16,150-square-foot restoration plan. The commission also approved a new home at 23 Ramshorn Road, let a Davis Road owner remove "no more than 10" collapsed boulders from a stream, and issued negative determinations for a sunroom at 2 Bella Rosa Drive, a retaining wall at 25 Ramshorn Road and a substation expansion on Grafton Street.

Conservation Agent Donald Flynn reported Ramshorn Pond has "not yet refilled" this spring and is arranging talks with the town's dam operator, while Lake Singletary's drawdown and herbicide hearing was continued again to June 3.
