COMMUNITY -- The Home of the Brave Road Race, a 5K that can also be completed as a walk, is set for Saturday, Nov. 7 at 9 a.m., starting from the Sturbridge Common. Select Board member Mary Dowling told the board on Oct. 19 that the race benefits the town's veterans fund, a line item in the municipal budget, and that the event has been held for roughly five years.
