YOUTH LEAGUES -- Fitchburg Youth Soccer's registration for the Fall 2026 season opened June 15, according to the club's website. The club's site also lists current status for its playing fields: Coolidge Park is open (7 a.m.-8 p.m.), Moran Field is listed as closed, and the field at Fitchburg High School is open. The club's page separately notes that player evaluations for players entering grades 3-8 for Fall 2026/Spring 2027 travel soccer were held in late June and early July at Moran Field, with all players guaranteed placement on a team.

No Fitchburg High School games were listed for the period, and no other town recreation, additional youth league, or community sports items were found in available sources for July 13-19.
