Fitchburg Youth Soccer pauses for Columbus Day weekend break
Fitchburg Youth Soccer paused regular-season games for both its In-Town and Travel divisions over Columbus Day weekend (Oct. 10), per the league's schedule. Travel teams had the option to compete in a fall tournament during the break rather than sit out entirely.
FITCHBURG --
YOUTH LEAGUES
Fitchburg Youth Soccer did not hold games the weekend of Oct. 10 in observance of Columbus Day, according to the league's posted schedule. Travel teams, which cover grades 3 and up, had the option to participate in a fall tournament during the break instead of standing idle. League organizers noted the season continues afterward, with the final weekend of fall games set for Nov. 7 for In-Town teams (Pre-K through grade 1/2) and Nov. 7-8 for Travel teams.
