Fitchburg Youth Soccer held travel tryouts at Moran Field this week, opening evaluations for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 season.

FITCHBURG -- Fitchburg Youth Soccer ran player evaluations across three evenings during the period, with tryouts at Moran Field, 427 Ashburnham Street, for players entering grades 3 through 8 in the fall.

**YOUTH LEAGUES**

Girls in grades 3/4 (5:30–6:30 p.m.) and grades 5/6 (6:45–7:45 p.m.) were evaluated Monday, June 29. Boys in the same grade bands took the field Tuesday, June 30, on the same schedule. Girls and boys in grades 7/8 were assessed Wednesday, July 1, with girls running from 5:30–6:30 p.m. and boys from 6:45–7:45 p.m. Makeup dates for grades 3–6 are scheduled for July 8 (girls) and July 9 (boys).

The club says attendance is required for all players entering grades 3 through 8; players without evaluation data on file will be placed on the lowest team. Every evaluated player is guaranteed a roster spot. Questions can be directed to the club at [email protected].

Registration for the fall season opened June 15. Travel players are asked to order uniforms separately from registration; assigned jersey numbers are posted on the club website.
