Douglas Youth Baseball and Softball League has opened registration for its 2026 fall season.

DOUGLAS -- YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Douglas Youth Baseball and Softball League (DYBSL) announced that registration for its 2026 Fall Baseball and Softball season is open through September 7 for players ages 4 to 15. The league said it will "try our absolute best to field teams at all age levels" but cannot guarantee every division will fill, and said families in divisions that don't fill would be able to work with the league on next steps, "such as placing them with a surrounding town's team." DYBSL is also seeking volunteer coaches for the fall, saying it is "particularly interested in coaches at the T-ball level" and that no coaching experience is required; a fall 2026 pre-season coaches meeting is planned, with location and time still to be announced. DYBSL also promoted two off-site camps to local players: an Evo Sports Clinics "Summer Baseball Development" clinic scheduled for August 3-7 at Shrewsbury High School, and a Worcester State University Nike Baseball Camp scheduled for August 10-13 for players ages 7 to 13.
