Auburn Library Adds Social Security, Cybersecurity Sessions This Week

AUBURN — Auburn Public Library rolls out two new one-time adult programs this week, on Social Security and cybersecurity, anchoring an otherwise packed calendar of youth and teen programming, sports league activity and two high school athletic previews from outside outlets.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Auburn Public Library will host "How to Navigate Social Security," a session for adults 18 and older, on Thursday, September 24, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Merriam Room. The library follows it up on Friday, September 25, from 1 to 2 p.m. with "Tech Time: Cyber Security Part 2," continuing its fall technology series for adult patrons. Both sessions are at the library's 369 Southbridge Street location.

COMING UP

Auburn Public Library's weekly slate continues through the week at 369 Southbridge Street: Music and Movement with Miss Caitlin on Monday, September 21, at 1:30 p.m.; Teen Volunteers (grades 7-12) that same day at 3 p.m.; Lego Club at 4 p.m.; and the English Conversation Circle for adults at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 22 brings Kids Crafternoon at 3:30 p.m., Knitting Group at 5 p.m. and Teen Crafting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 23 adds Baby-Toddler Storytime at 10 a.m., Alphabits for ages 3 to 6 at 11 a.m. and Adult Crafting Hour at 6 p.m., with another Baby-Toddler Storytime session Thursday, September 24, at 10 a.m.

Youth sports also fill town fields all week: Auburn Fastpitch and United Soccer of Auburn run games at 400 Oxford Street and 203A Pakachoag Street respectively each afternoon and evening through Friday, September 25, alongside Auburn Rockets activity at 400 Oxford Street.
