Winchendon Wins Fourth Straight Rail Trail Grant, Halts Solicitation Permits

The town announced it has been awarded its fourth consecutive Mass Trails Grant, which will fund further improvements to the rail trail, continuing a multi-year state investment in Winchendon's recreational infrastructure.

The Beals Memorial Library's Summer Reading Club continues this week, with sessions listed for Friday, July 17, and further sessions Monday and Tuesday. The library calendar also shows a busy stretch of programming ahead, including a Lego Club, a yoga session with Chantal from Shadow Alchemy Wellness, and a caregiver support group called Walking Beside You, all set for Monday, July 20.
Parks and Recreation has several community events on the calendar in the coming days, including Wandering Wednesdays, Bingo at the Hub, a Free Community Open Mic & Picnic in the Park, and a Reminisants Concert.
