Winchendon Sets Early Voting Hours for September Primary
WINCHENDON — Winchendon has set early voting hours for the September state primary, with in-person early voting open Monday, Aug. 24, through Thursday, Aug. 27, the town announced in a News Flash post this week.
TOWN HALL The early voting window gives residents four extra days to cast a ballot ahead of the primary, according to the town's announcement. Details on hours and location were not included in the posted notice; residents can check the town's website for updates as the dates approach.
The town also posted its July 2026 Department Updates, a monthly roundup summarizing activity across municipal departments, according to the News Flash feed on the town's website.
COMING UP Town boards are busy this week. The Zoning Board of Appeals, Capital Planning Committee, Fire Station Committee, Cultural Council, and the Montachusett Metropolitan Planning Organization all meet Wednesday, Aug. 19, followed by the School Committee and Conservation Commission on Thursday, Aug. 20.
Early voting for the September primary runs Monday, Aug. 24, through Thursday, Aug. 27, the same day the Board of Selectmen holds its next meeting on Aug. 24.
