Warren Select Board hires a police officer and accountant, tables a police-station study over deliverables. Members unanimously appointed Ian N. Curtis to the department at Step 5, $31 an hour, and named Tammy M.
Martin town accountant under a three-year deal. A proposed contract with Tech Town Architects to assess converting 968 Main Street into a police station was tabled after members demanded underlying CAD files rather than "just graphics," with one member saying "those files is what the value is." The board also waived its right of first refusal on 1212 Southbridge Road, owned by Stormfield Capital Funding 1 LLC, and signed a regional dispatch agreement with Rutland through June 30, 2026, alongside payroll and accounts-payable warrants totaling $129,365.24 and $205,521.11.
