Warren selectmen advance bank building study, clash breaks out over cost. The board voted unanimously to hire Tecton Architects to assess the former Cornerstone Bank building at 968 Main Street as a possible police station, then approved a $47,840 H2M Architects and Engineers contract to study expanding Fire Station A. Selectman David Dufresne and the building's owner traded heated accusations during public comment, with Dufresne saying "you did steal the building from the town" after disputing the owner's asking price.
Highway Surveyor Jeremy Olson won unanimous approval to deficit-spend on snow and ice removal, citing 21 storm events in 31 days and crews working 80-hour weeks. Fire Chief Adam LaVoye said he'll apply for a federal SAFER grant to fund the town's first overnight firefighter staffing, warning call volume has nearly tripled to 1,400 a year.
