Town Hall and Library Cut Hours Starting July 1

The Rutland Free Public Library confirmed it is also reducing its hours of operation beginning July 1 due to budget restrictions. The new schedule sets Tuesday hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday from noon to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The library remains closed Sundays and Mondays, and continues to run its Summer Reading Program, Salty Seniors Book Group, and Kid Happenings series, along with its museum pass and meeting room offerings, under Library Director Kerry Remington.
