COMMUNITY & ARTS Stevens Memorial Library, led by Director Jess Mynes, has been provisionally awarded a Library Services and Technology Act grant of $20,000 from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. The grant, called "At the Table: Food Literacy from the Ground Up," will fund library programs and resources aimed at building food-literacy skills among Ashburnham residents. The library said the effort reflects its role as a community center offering patrons opportunities to develop lifelong skills that improve quality of life.
COMING UP The Nashoba Associated Boards of Health will hold town nurse hours on Tuesday, July 21, at 10 a.m.; Ashburnham residents can attend any of the health agency's scheduled visits in the region, according to the town's announcement. The town's Summer Fitness sessions at Winchester Park continue Monday evenings at 6 p.m., with the next session falling on Monday, July 20.
