Shrewsbury Opens Newly Rebuilt Playground After 26 Years
Shrewsbury unveiled its first fully rebuilt playground in 26 years this week, giving families a refreshed recreation space, while Town Hall issued a reminder about new fiscal-year billing rules for water and sewer customers.
TOWN HALL
The Town has entered Fiscal Year 2027, and Town Hall is reminding residents that any unpaid Water, Sewer, and Stormwater balances incurred before July 31 will be placed as a lien on the property after November 1. Officials are urging customers with outstanding balances to settle them before that deadline to avoid the lien process.
Separately, the town continues to encourage residents to report Spotted Lanternfly sightings to the state's online portal as part of an ongoing statewide effort to track the invasive pest.
