Shrewsbury DPW Schedules Water Flow Testing On Green Street
The Department of Public Works scheduled flow testing on the town's water system Thursday afternoon, while Town Hall rolled out a new homepage tool aimed at helping residents navigate municipal services online.
TOWN HALL
The DPW planned flow testing on the Green Street distribution system for 1 p.m. Thursday, July 30, an operation that can temporarily reduce water pressure or cause discoloration in nearby homes and businesses. Residents affected by discoloration are advised to run cold water taps until it clears rather than doing laundry during or immediately after the test.
Separately, the town has added a new tool to its homepage designed to help residents more quickly find town services and information, a change first reported by Shrewsbury Patch and also flagged in the town's own online update.
