Select Board · Meeting of August 25, 2026

BOLTON — The Bolton Select Board voted unanimously to accept and execute an easement deed for the Forbush Mill Road bridge project. Property owner Chiodo, L.L.C. voluntarily signed permanent easements for a bridge and guardrail and a roughly three-year temporary easement for conservation monitoring, Town Administrator Marie Sobalvarro told the board. On a motion by Bill Nickles, seconded by Brian Boyle, the board approved the deed by roll call, with Chair Kate Buyuk, Nickles and Boyle all voting yes.

Executive Assistant Jenny Jacobsen said e-signatures would not work for the recordable document, noting "a majority of the select board signatures" would suffice to keep it moving. Boyle agreed to sign in person despite traveling until Thursday. The board adjourned at 12:04 p.m., four minutes after convening.
