Conservation · Meeting of October 19, 2026

TEMPLETON — The Templeton Conservation Commission approved a driveway project and a cleanup plan, while holding a six-lot subdivision for state review. Chair George Andrews led the board through five hearings, including a negative determination for a Baldwinville Road cleanup that passed 4-0 with new member Vincent Pelletier abstaining. The commission also issued an order of conditions for a driveway expansion at 71 Otter River Road after applicant Carissa LeBlanc addressed MassDEP concerns about wetland delineation accuracy.

Engineer Christopher Anderson's six-lot Highland Avenue subdivision drew public comment from resident Tom Bosworth, who showed photos of road flooding tied to an undersized town culvert Anderson called "probably undersized for what they should have put in." That application, plus two related house-lot applications, was continued to Nov. 16, 2026, pending a MassDEP file number.
