Millbury Schools Update Cell Phone, Parking and Attendance Policies for Fall

MILLBURY — Millbury Public Schools posted a batch of policy updates to its website late this week ahead of the 2026-27 school year, revising rules on cell phones and earbuds, student parking and attendance as students prepare to head back to class.

The district's "In the News" page shows an updated cell phone and earbud policy alongside new student parking guidelines for 26-27 and a revised attendance policy for the coming year, according to posts on the Millbury Public Schools website. Specifics of each policy were not detailed in the district's public post, though families are directed to the district's ParentSquare app for further updates.

Raymond E. Shaw Elementary School also posted a notice this week updating its main office hours, per a message on the district site addressed to families.

The policy postings follow last week's news that Millbury sixth-graders will see a $50 per-student reduction in the cost of this fall's Nature's Classroom trip, funded through the program's June fundraiser.
